Building on this, Hagebau is a network of more than 365 medium-sized wholesalers and retailers in the building materials, wood, tiles, and garden sectors. With more than 1,760 locations in Europe, craftsmen or hobbyist can find the right accessories – with the help of VIGNOLD. We developed a concept for the introduction and operation of digital signage at the POS. For this purpose, we analyzed the general purchasing behavior and examined the current purchasing processes in the hardware used by stores and print media. Our recommendation: to further develop VKF communication and the purchasing process through interactive consulting, digital information systems, and in-store TV. We successfully carried out the later technical implementation and operation of the system together with our partner SEENMEDIA. For optimization purposes, the project was accompanied by a market research. The success proves us to be right: the key figures have improved significantly, as sales in the cross-channel area (especially shelf extension) have risen significantly.
